MemorialCare Health System is seeking an RN for the Intensive Care Unit at Saddleback Medical Center. The role involves direct nursing care during night shifts, coordinating care with the healthcare team and applying nursing standards to patient needs.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, teaching families, documentation, and participating in performance-improvement activities to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Word processing and order entry experience preferred.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Card (BCLS) required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Card (ACLS) required.
• Current NIHSS Certificate required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsabilités

• Utilizes the nursing process to manage patient care in the ICU.
• Directs and coordinates nursing care for ICU patients with the care team.
• Delegates tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring documentation.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective care.
