Job summary

Centerpoint - Winchester ICU is seeking an experienced RN for the night shift in the intensive care unit. This Full Time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a 3x12 schedule with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include plan of care, documentation, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the care team to support patient and family needs. Requires RN licensure and nursing degree with ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required
• BLS/ACLS/PALS within specified days required
• KY RN licensure or compact licensure required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care intervention including medication administration and other clinical treatments
• Documents patient care provided
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient and family
• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Coordinates patient care across disciplines including transfers, discharge and referrals
• Provides education to patients and family appropriate to age and condition
• Advocates for patient physical and emotional well-being

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing

KY RN licensure or compact licensure

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)

BLS within 10 days of hire

ACLS within 30 days of hire

PALS within 45 days of hire

Handle With Care within 30 days of hire
