Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital in Temple, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for LTAC Night shifts. This full-time role includes 3 12-hour nights, caring for high-acuity LTAC/ICU patients with ventilator and wound care needs.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team. Texas RN license and BLS are required, with growth opportunities within one hospital setting.

Qualifications

• RN license (Texas or compact) is required.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed clinical assessments and create care plans.
• Prioritize patient and family needs; educate patients and families.
• Delegate tasks based on team competencies.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and ensure safety and quality care.
• Demonstrate professional practice consistent with Texas Nursing Practice Act.
