Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital (CCH) in Temple, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for LTAC Days. This full-time role combines ICU-level and long-term care in a 25-bed unit, with a 2–3 patient ICU and 4–5 patient Med-Surg load per RN.

You’ll provide ventilator weaning, complex wound care, and chronic disease management while growing clinically within a supportive team. The position requires an active RN license (Texas or compact), BLS, and a passion for complex patient care.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans; adjust plans for outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members.
• Delegate tasks based on patient condition and team competencies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to build a care plan; follow up on tasks.
