NONPF seeks an ACNP/NP to provide inpatient, acute and critical care services in Texas. The clinician will assess patients, order tests, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with physicians and the care team. Strong counseling, documentation, and decision-making skills are essential.

Responsibilities include rounding, admissions and discharges, and on-call coverage as needed. BLS/ACLS within 30 days and ACNP-BC certification are required, with experience in critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited NP/ACNP program.
• Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license and national ACNP/NP certification.
• BLS and ACLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• ACNP board certification (ACNP-BC) or equivalent.
• Experience in acute/critical care settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition through physical exams and histories.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and protocols.
• Provide patient and family counseling on treatment and medications.
• Collaborate with supervising physicians and healthcare team.
• May perform invasive procedures as delegated.
• Participate in rounding, admissions, discharges, and on-call coverage.
