Job summary

Advocate Health's Wisconsin Float Pool is seeking an ICU RN for a 0.9 FTE, full-time schedule with nights (1900–0730). Self-scheduled floating across multiple WI facilities, including St. Luke's and South Shore, with 4 weekend shifts per 6 weeks and 2 holidays per year.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, an RN license, and BLS certification. ICU experience of 1 year minimum (2 years preferred) is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing program completed and licensed to practice in state.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum ICU RN experience; 1 year required, 2 years preferred.
• Weekend and holiday coverage as part of schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care per standards and procedures.
• Float to multiple care environments within the designated Zone.
• Lead initiatives to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
• Coordinate care across diverse populations and units within acute care.
• Maintain competency to practice across all facilities in the zone.
