Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse to float within the Charlotte Resource Team across zones 6–8. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with a pay range of $38.20–$57.30 per hour and requires BLS and an active RN license.

BSN preferred and 1 year of nursing experience is typical. The nurse will support multiple facilities, maintain nursing documentation, and participate in professional governance and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing and BLS certification.
• BSN preferred for the role.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and complies with policies and procedures.
• Evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols.
• Communicates effectively and resolves conflicts to support team collaboration.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and maintains required certifications.
