Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte invites a Resource Registered Nurse to join the 36-hour week team. You will float to zones 6–8, engage in governance and quality initiatives, and apply evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, updating care plans, administering treatments per protocols, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation while upholding safety and ethics standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license in appropriate state(s) and multi-state compact eligibility where required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications per specialty may be required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Administer medications and therapies per clinical protocols; ensure safe delegation.
