Qualifications

• Minimum nine (9) months RN experience
• Minimum two (2) years recent ICU nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• RN license (Oregon) required at hire
• Basic Life Support required at hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within 3 months of hire
• Computer keyboarding skills
• Drug calculation experience
• Experience in Cardiac Rhythm Recognition

Responsibilities

• Perform mult-system assessments including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, education and discharge planning needs
• Develop individualized nursing plan of care and coordinate with hospital departments and community agencies
• Initiate measures per protocol and document care and medications
• Evaluate patient progress and participate in unit quality assurance activities
