Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit Float Pool in New York. You will provide safe, competent care across units, applying nursing theory and evidence-based practice in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care, assessing needs with critical thinking, educating patients and families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes. Full-time daytime schedule; RN license in NY required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• ADN with matriculation in a BSN program accepted.
• Current RN License in New York State.

Responsabilités

• Deliver patient care by applying nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing.
• Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying barriers and opportunities for improvement.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned.
• Document nursing practice accurately to support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Participate in shared decision-making through nursing department committees and unit initiatives.
