Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our 7p–7a shifts. You will collaborate with the health care team to place patients timely, develop individualized care plans, and deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should hold an RN license, with BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and have 1+ year of recent critical care experience. Strong communication, confidentiality, and compassionate care are essential.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Associate's of Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 1+ year of recent relevant experience; 2+ CCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule 7p–7a in the Float Pool and coordinate patient placement.
• Promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy.
• Collects comprehensive data for patient health and unit improvement.
• Develops and prioritizes the patient's plan of care with patient/family and team.
• Implements identified plans with nursing interventions and physician orders.
• Considers safety, cost, and impact on practice; participates in peer reviews.
