Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse in Tampa, FL for a full-time night shift. You will collaborate on patient admission, discharge, and transfers, and tailor care plans with input from patients and families.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and coordination with physicians while participating in rounding and handoffs. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of relevant experience, Florida RN licensure, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must possess an RN license and be eligible to practice in Florida.
• Minimum 1+ year of relevant patient-care experience required.
• 2+ years of critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to admit, discharge, and transfer patients per policy.
• Develop and adjust patient care plans with input from patient and family.
• Provide timely nursing interventions and document physician orders accurately.
• Support safety, cost-effectiveness, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in hourly rounding and ensure clear handoffs between staff.
• Educate patients and families based on assessed needs and learning readiness.
• Contribute to peer interviewing and review processes.
