Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a Float Pool RN to provide high-quality patient care across departments, collaborating with physicians and the health care team to promote timely admission, transfer, and discharge.

You will evaluate patient needs, develop individualized care plans, deliver nursing interventions, and educate patients and families. The role requires strong clinical skills, communication, and the ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year recent nursing experience required.
• Critical care experience 2+ years preferred.
• RN license, BLS and ACLS required.
• English communication and teamwork skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates to promote timely patient placement per hospital policy.
• Develops and prioritizes the patient plan of care with patient/family.
• Implements plans with nursing interventions and physician orders.
• Ensures safe handoffs and thorough documentation between caregivers.
• Educates patients and families based on assessed needs.
• Participates in hourly rounds for outcomes.
