Job summary

Intermountain Health Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah seeks a Critical Care Technician for the Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit. This part-time role supports the patient care team with tasks for critically ill patients under supervision of licensed personnel.

Shifts are 12-hour, part-time, with a variable schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation starts at 18.94 per hour and benefits are not eligible at this position.

Qualifications

• Assists with patient care needs and communicates with care team.
• Performs 12-lead EKG duties within training scope.
• Handles unit secretary duties and supplies as directed.
• Recognizes changes in patient condition and reports promptly.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient care needs and call lights, assists with hygiene and vital signs.
• Performs 12-lead EKG duties and related tasks.
• Applies, checks and documents restraints as directed by RN/physician.
• Assists with transfers, admissions and discharges with safe patient handling.
• Maintains stocks and supplies and performs unit secretary duties.
• Documents patient care findings and seeks assistance for changes.
