Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, UT is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Neuro Medical - Intensive Care team. The role emphasizes patient care, EKG duties, patient transfers, and unit stock management in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have a valid CNA, BLS certification, and at least one year of patient care experience. The position offers full-time hours (36/wk) with three 12-hour shifts, mainly nights, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with current state certification.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• High School diploma or GED per CLIA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Responds to patient care needs by answering call lights and assisting with hygiene care.
• Obtains vital signs and communicates findings to the care team.
• Performs 12-lead EKG duties within competency.
• Assists with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
• Orders and maintains unit stock and performs unit secretary duties.
• Assists with emergency resuscitation and set-up for line insertion.
