Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, Texas, seeks an ICU Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across MICU, SICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU, and Level III NICU. You will monitor, medicate, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal outcomes in a high-acuity environment.

Join a team recognized for clinical excellence and participate in 3 nights per week, with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree RN program.
• Current Texas RN license or Multi-State Compact with Texas eligibility.
• BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association required.
• NIHSS Stroke certification required.
• 1 year ICU/critical care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ICU nursing care with discharge planning.
• Monitors patient status, documents care, and escalates concerns per policy.
• Administers medications safely per hospital and state regulations.
• Performs orders, assists with exams/tests, and maintains infection control.
• Respects privacy, cultural values, and coordinates family education.
• Maintains licensure and participates in safety and quality initiatives.
