Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, Texas, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse to care for patients across MICU, SICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, Trauma ICU and Level III NICU. The role involves critical interventions, telemetry, and 24/7 coverage in a top-performing hospital.

The 3 days per week nights (7p-7a) with rotating weekends require strong critical care expertise, patient advocacy, and compliance with all safety standards. Join a premier ICU team with recognized excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in Texas.
• 1 year of critical care experience in an ICU setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS stroke certification.
• Willingness to work 3 days/week nights with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, high-quality ICU nursing care in MICU/SICU/CVICU/NICU.
• Monitor patients, document interventions, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policies and laws.
• Assist physicians with exams, procedures, and diagnostic tests.
• Maintain infection control standards and patient confidentiality.
• Support patient and family education and ensure licensure compliance.
