Job summary

Wellstar Health Systems, Inc. is seeking experienced Critical Care RNs to join the W.E.S.T. Float Pool and provide coverage across Wellstar facilities in Georgia. This is a night shift role focused on high-acuity patient care and flexibility to support multiple units.

You will deliver evidence-based care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support patients and families through complex clinical scenarios, contributing to the highest standards of care across the health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license (compact or single state).
• BLS – Basic Life Support from AHA required.
• ACLS required.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of Recent Critical Care RN experience (ICU, CVICU, SICU, MICU, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, individualized care using the full nursing process.
• Manage complex, high-acuity patients with confidence and clinical expertise.
• Safely and accurately administer medications, infusions, and treatments.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and critical changes in patient condition.
• Partner with patients and families to educate, advocate, and empower.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care.
