Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Nursing Assistant for Critical Care ICU coverage. The role supports RNs with daily patient care, documentation in the EMR, and patient transfers. Night shifts run from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with 36 hours per week and a rotation that includes holidays and weekends. Requires BLS and state nurse aide registration.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily patient care: bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, mobility; records vital signs and input/output.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge with RN supervision; prepares room and documents patient belongings.
• Performs patient rounding and communicates observations to RN; assists with positioning and transfers.
• Assists with nutritional needs and skin care; ensures supplies and devices are maintained.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated; may remove IVs under supervision.
