Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Intensive Care Unit in Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. You will perform basic patient care, assist with admissions, and support the nursing plan of care in a fast-paced unit.

The role requires CNA certification, high school diploma, and NC registry eligibility, with shifts at night. The position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to hospital policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Nursing Assistant certification required; Current registration with North Carolina Division of Facility Services.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English; Excellent guest relations; Verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds; ability to work variable shifts; basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orientation to the unit and hospital routines.
• Respond to patient needs and report requests to the appropriate person.
• Assist with implementing the nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access medication/supply room to retrieve items for patient care.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate charging for patient services.
• Perform waived testing per unit competency.
• Other duties as assigned.
