• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orient to the unit, hospital routine and patient care equipment.
• Respond to needs of patients with direct assistance or by reporting patient needs to the appropriate person.
• Assist with implementation of nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain a clean, stocked patient environment and support unit safety.
• Support cost containment and contribute to accurate charging for patient services.
