St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Florence Hospital.

Shift is 7P-7A, 12 hours per week with every-other-weekend rotation; the role combines patient care tasks with unit clerical duties and greeting of patients and visitors, under RN/LPN supervision. Required are a high school diploma, state CNA/CA certification, CPR, English literacy, and ability to read and communicate; basic math and safety

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required; CNA/CA certification in the state of practice.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English; CPR for professional rescuer.
• Completion of applicable state courses and passing state exam required for certification.
• Not listed on applicable State Abuse Registry.
• Demonstrates basic math skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain clerical functions for a designated unit.
• Greet patients/visitors and answer telephones using strong customer service.
• Execute worklist tasks triggered by physician orders or nurse tasks under supervision.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN or LPN guidance.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Support ICU team with clerical duties to ensure smooth unit operations.
