Job summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Florence Hospital. The role blends clerical tasks with patient care in a busy ICU setting.

Shift is 7P-7A, 12 hours per week, with every-other-weekend rotation. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, state CNA certification, English literacy, and CPR certification for professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification required in the state of practice.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state courses or exams.
• CPR certification required for professional rescuer.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors and answer phones using courteous customer service.
• Maintain unit clerical duties and assist RN/LPN with tasks.
• Complete worklist items generated by physician orders or nursing staff.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and ensure a safe, clean environment.
• Support ICU staff with general clerical and patient-care duties.
