Job summary

Henry Ford Health is hiring a Clinical Tech for Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. The role supports cardiovascular, Medical ICU, and surgical ICU units with hands-on patient care, vitals, and basic procedures during 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts.

You’ll collaborate with RNs to ensure safety and comfort across diverse patient populations. Qualifications include a high school diploma and options such as nursing study, RN/EMT/MA programs, phlebotomy certification, or prior Clinical Tech experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with a qualifying health field option.
• Candidates may be nursing students, RN graduates, or licensed paramedical professionals.
• Phlebotomy certification or prior Clinical Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect vitals, track intake/output and patient data with precision.
• Assist RNs, ensure comfort and safety, report changes promptly.
• Perform phlebotomy, bladder scans, basic therapies as directed.
• Support mobility, assist with equipment and daily activities.
• Provide culturally sensitive care across age groups from pediatric to geriatric.
