Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV, is seeking an ICU Clinical Supervisor RN for a full-time 36-hour week on the ICU unit with night shifts. The role combines direct patient care with managerial responsibilities, including staff discipline and hiring decisions, while coordinating with physicians and the Nurse Manager on patient condition changes.

Qualified candidates will have an NV RN license, 3+ years nursing experience, and appropriate certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS).

Qualifications

• NV state RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications as appropriate for department.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred or enrolled in accredited program within one year of employment or transfer into supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical and staff supervision on ICU unit.
• Disciplinary actions, hiring and termination input.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and nursing leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate response to changes in patient status.
