Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, is hiring a registered nurse for dual clinical and managerial responsibilities in a busy hospital setting. The role provides direct and indirect patient care, participates in hiring and staff termination processes, and coordinates with physicians and nursing leadership to respond to changes in patient conditions.

Qualified candidates hold current RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with TNCC and ENPC preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of practice.
• Current BLS, ACLS.
• Current TNCC and ENPC certification, preferred.
• Three years nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates supportive behaviors necessary for performing bedside report using IMAP & SBAR (both accomplished in partnership with patient inside room)
• Competent in the care of patients within the specialty area.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities and needs.
• Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. This includes: geriatric and the general patient population.
