Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacist to ensure the safe and effective use of medications for patients and healthcare teams. The role involves monitoring prescribed therapies, promoting evidence-based practice, and coordinating with pharmacists, nurses and physicians to resolve drug therapy issues.

You will provide medication information, assist with pharmacokinetics and dose adjustments, and participate in training of pharmacy students and technicians.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy
• One year of acute care hospital decentralized ICU experience required
• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Interact daily with the pharmacy team, nurses, physicians and other staff to resolve drug therapy issues
• Provide medication information and consultation on pharmacokinetics, dose adjustments, orders and laboratory tests
• Participate in training of new pharmacists, pharmacy students and technicians

PharmD or PharmBS from ACPE-accredited school
