Sharp HealthCare is seeking an Intensive Care Registered Nurse (CN II) to join its ICU team. This role requires advanced competencies, autonomy, and collaboration with interdisciplinary staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

The ICU RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment, adhering to safety, documentation, and evidence-based practice standards. CN II level responsibilities include leadership and potential rapid response participation.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN preferred; CA RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale competency required.
• ICU experience in high-acuity units preferred.
• Transitional RN program or comparable tele/step-down ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interprofessional care for safe, patient-centered ICU delivery.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for critical patients.
• Document care measures accurately in EMR.
• Provide education to patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Serve as patient advocate and support infection control standards.
• Lead or assist as charge nurse or RRT as needed.
