Job summary

sharp is seeking an Intensive Care Registered Nurse at the CN II level to join the ICU team. The role emphasizes autonomous practice, high-acuity patient care, and collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues to ensure safety and optimal outcomes. The candidate should have a nursing degree, current California RN license, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or ADN with 5+ years in a high-acuity ICU.
• Two years ICU RN experience in high-acuity ICU.
• CA RN license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• CCRN preferred.
• Critical Care Curriculum completion during program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ICU CN II level.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for safe patient care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Document care and patient progress in EMR.
• Lead as charge nurse or RRT as needed.
• Participate in emergency preparedness.
