Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education - Identifies learning needs of self and attends education programs.
• Evaluation of Care - Participates in evaluating patient care and communicates for continuity.
• Implementation - Delivers competent care for patients with complex problems following policies.
• Leadership - Supports unit goals and collaborates with the interdepartmental team.
• Patient Assessment - Identifies priorities and plans discharge needs with families.
• Planning - Prepares and updates the plan of care with multidisciplinary resources.
