UNC Health Care in North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Critical Care Unit. Reporting to the Director of the ICU, you will coordinate and manage staff, materials, and finances to improve patient outcomes and ensure nursing standards are met.

• Bachelor's degree required or obtained within three years; MS in Nursing, Business or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years Critical Care Unit Nursing experience; 1–3 years leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse currently licensed in North Carolina; certification in field of expertise preferred.
• Sound clinical knowledge and practice in CCU nursing; strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and manages staff, material and financial resources to achieve patient outcomes.
• Serves as a clinical role model using the nursing process to direct, provide and evaluate age-specific patient care.
• Ensures patient care standards are carried out and validates nurse competencies.
• Participates in unit and organizational committees and provides clinical leadership and support to the department.
• Serves as a working manager able to perform duties of an RN in the CCU.
