Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all unit functions during the shift. You will collaborate with the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care, serving as a resource and promoting our value-driven care approach.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas, BSN preferred, and a minimum of 1 year as an RN with ICU experience favored.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year working as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• 3 years of RN experience in an ICU setting preferred.
• Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse required; if Compact RN license, TX license within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Lead in a way that inspires commitment to the organization's vision and values.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor planning according to patient care needs.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to community/patient events and in-services.
