Advocate Trinity Hospital ICU is seeking a full-time registered nurse manager to oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate resources, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care setting.

The role emphasizes nursing leadership, staff development, compliance with policies, collaboration with physicians and management, and effective budgeting. RN licensure with BSN preferred and a minimum of 3 years ICU experience required; 36 hours/week.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Related Field; or Associate Degree with BSN enrollment within 2 years of hire.
• Typically requires 3 years of ICU/acute care nursing experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide work direction to clinical and support staff and coordinate resources for procedures and patient flow.
• Deliver direct patient care by applying the nursing process and evaluating outcomes.
• Lead staff training/orientation and assist with HR duties as needed with unit leadership.
• Monitor staffing levels and ensure policy compliance and safe care delivery.
• Collaborate with management, physicians and departments to optimize patient flow and interdepartmental communication.
