Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking an RN Clinical Educator to lead ICU education, onboarding, and ongoing staff development. The role collaborates with nursing leadership to advance evidence-based practice and competency assessment in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing is required or enrollment in a Master’s program within one year of hire.
• MSN in Nursing Education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational initiatives to support ICU nursing practice and competency development.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and identify educational gaps.
• Design, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new clinical staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate simulation-based learning experiences.
• Develop and deliver educational programs using adult learning principles.
• Support novice nurse transition-to-practice programs and professional development initiatives.
• Create, implement, and evaluate unit-based competencies in collaboration with nursing leadership.
• Monitor competency completion and staff development progress.
• Plan and deliver continuing education activities for nursing and clinical staff.
• Develop evidence-based clinical scenarios and facilitate simulation training.
• Serve as a resource for evidence-based practice and nursing education.
• Participate in AHA life support programs.
• Serve as a BLS Instructor and obtain ACLS or PALS Instructor certification as appropriate.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
