Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health is seeking an RN Clinical Educator focused on ICU education to advance staff competency and evidence-based practice. You will support onboarding, orientation programs, simulation training, and professional development within the Patient Care Services team.

You will collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to promote excellence in patient care and nursing education, including AHA life support programs and instructor certifications as

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required or enrollment within one year of hire.
• MSN in Nursing Education preferred.
• Current NH RN license required; BLS certification required.
• ACLS or PALS certification within 90 days of hire; maintained thereafter.
• Specialty certification preferred; AHA BLS Instructor preferred at hire; ACLS/PALS Instructor preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICU nursing education initiatives and competency development.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and identify gaps.
• Design, implement, and evaluate orientation programs for new staff.
• Coordinate and facilitate simulation-based learning experiences.
• Develop and deliver programs using adult learning principles.
• Support transition-to-practice and ongoing professional development.
• Create, implement, and evaluate unit-based competencies with leadership.
• Monitor competency completion and staff development progress.
• Plan and deliver continuing education for nursing and clinical staff.
• Develop evidence-based clinical scenarios for simulation training.
• Serve as a resource for evidence-based practice and nursing education.
• Participate in AHA life support programs.
