Job summary

Intermountain Health Park City Hospital in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge Nurse to provide leadership and clinical expertise on night shifts. The ideal candidate has ICU experience and a BSN, with BLS and any required certifications, and will mentor staff while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice; BSN within four years of hire
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
• Unit Specific Certification such as ACLS/PALS as required
• Experience in the assigned clinical area; mentoring experience

Responsibilities

• Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status.
• Seeks and evaluates information from interdisciplinary team including patient, family, and physicians.
• Uses assessment data to develop an individualized plan of care with patient/family involvement.
• Collaboratively plans and prepares patients for further support needs after care outcomes.
• Directs the interdisciplinary care team via delegation, coordination, and collaboration.
• Manages time, supplies, and resources to coordinate patient care delivery.
• Evaluates patient response and revises plans as needed; reassesses changes.
