Job summary

Intermountain Health Park City Hospital is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to provide leadership and clinical expertise on the night shift, coordinating unit resources for optimal patient care and financial stewardship.

The role requires a BSN, RN license, BLS, and unit-specific certifications; ICU experience preferred. You will supervise the care team, mentor staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Unit Specific Certification (ACLS, PALS, etc.).
• BSN must be obtained within four years of hire/promotion; education agreement may take precedence.
• Mentoring experience.
• Experience in assigned clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessment of physical, social, and psychological status.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized plan of care.
• Directs the care team via delegation, coordination, and collaboration.
• Plans staffing needs and manages time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluates patient response and revises the plan of care as needed.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement and safety initiatives.
