Job summary

Banner - University Medicine seeks an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. The ACNP will directly manage cardiac ICU patients within a division committed to team growth and career development.

The ideal candidate will perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpret tests, prescribe medications, educate, consult, and participate in research.

Qualifications

• Current ACNP certification.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
• Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substance.
• Experience or New Grads with previous cardiology or critical care experience are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Involved in evening care management of patients.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
• Educate, consult, and participate in research.
