Job summary

Baylor Scott & White - Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Full-Time Night shift. You will oversee patient care, perform assessments, and develop care plans for adult and geriatric patients in a 14-bed unit with 1:1 or 1:2 ratios.

Required: minimum 1 year ICU experience, RN license, and BLS (within 30 days). CCRN is preferred. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice and teamwork within a Magnet-oriented pathway.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience.
• RN license required to practice.
• BLS certification (within 30 days of start) is required.
• CCRN certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create care plans.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatments.
• Delegate tasks to team members based on patient needs and competencies.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.
• Document learning needs and outcomes for ongoing care improvement.
