Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the 14-bed ICU unit. This full-time night position serves adult and geriatric patients with 1:1 or 1:2 staffing, and requires at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• RN license required
• BLS certification (or within 30 days)
• CCRN certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and family needs; create, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Educate patients, families, nurses, and community; empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices.
• Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly based on patient condition and team competencies.
• Coordinate with colleagues to create a comprehensive care plan and ensure safety and efficiency.
• Use varied problem-solving approaches to address patient, family, and staff needs and improve outcomes.
