Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking an ICT Designer to support mission-critical facilities in the United States. You will perform basic technical duties under supervision, develop system designs, and coordinate with project teams across locations.

Responsibilities include site surveys, creating deliverables in CAD/Bluebeam/Revit, and ensuring quality and budget adherence. Growth through professional engagement and adherence to design standards is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years related industry experience preferred.
• Experience with ICT design in mission-critical facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops systems designs within own discipline with minimal supervision.
• Performs site visits for surveys, progress inspections, and final punch lists as required by project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build personal knowledge and professional growth.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Performs duties to assist or act as the project manager: coordinate tasks within schedule and budget.
• Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews returned work to ensure timely execution.
• Identifies and reports potential roadblocks affecting scope, schedule, or budget.
• Develops understanding of Stantec’s accounting and project management systems.
