Job summary

Stantec in Chicago is seeking an ICT/Security Designer to begin a career in the Technology group. The role focuses on producing project deliverables that align with standards and performing basic technical tasks.

You will collaborate with a team to develop design documents and technical reports, apply basic engineering concepts, coordinate with other teams, and assist a project engineer with more advanced activities. Proficiency with REVIT and CAD is expected.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic engineering concepts for technology design, analysis, and investigation.
• Ability to coordinate tasks with other teams across the firm and outside sources.

Responsibilities

• Works with a team of technical staff to develop project deliverables ranging from design documents to technical reports.
• Applies knowledge of basic engineering concepts, principles, practices, and procedures for technology design, analysis, and investigation.
• Coordinates tasks with other teams across the firm and outside sources.
• Assists project engineer with more advanced technical activities.
• Uses appropriate technology and software (i.e. REVIT and CAD among others) to prepare project deliverables and production tasks assigned by senior project engineer or project manager.
