Job summary

Vertech is seeking an INCS Support Specialist I to join a 24/7/365 industrial security operations team. The role focuses on Tier 1 troubleshooting for ICS/OT, incident intake, and escalation within manufacturing environments. You will work a fixed shift with a two-hour overlap for proper handoffs.

The position emphasizes a structured incident workflow, documentation in knowledge bases, and ongoing collaboration with Level 2/3 engineers. A strong customer-service attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in IT, automation, electrical engineering, computer science, or cybersecurity is required.
• 1–2 years in technical support, helpdesk, or field service is preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ or CCNA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support for INCS incidents, service requests, and alerts during your assigned shift.
• Log, track, and resolve tickets using the organization’s ticketing system.
• Triaging and troubleshooting industrial networks, HMIs, SCADA, PLCs, and remote access/VPN solutions.
