The Cybersecurity Engineer (ICS/OT Security) at New York City Office of Technology & Innovation will play a key supporting role safeguarding the secure operation of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Operational Technology (OT) used in critical municipal infrastructure.

The role involves implementing, maintaining, and evaluating security controls and collaborating with city staff and agencies to protect essential public services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; four years of experience in projects/policies or equivalent.
• Experience with design/maintenance of security controls for ICS/OT environments.
• Familiarity with standards such as NIST SP 800-82 and ISA/IEC 62443.

Responsabilités

• Assist in designing, implementing and maintaining security controls for ICS/OT environments (SCADA, PLCs, RTUs).
• Support secure network architectures, segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Assist investigations and responses to security incidents involving ICS/OT systems.
