Job summary

SPS North America is hiring Skate Hosts for The Rink at Rockefeller Center, a seasonal, cold-weather operation. You will help create a safe, welcoming experience on and around the ice, enforce rules, assist guests, and support rink operations in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires skating proficiency, strong guest-service skills, and the ability to work diverse schedules including early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Recreational or professional skating experience preferred; skating proficiency required.
• Must be comfortable skating on the ice for the duration of a shift.
• On-ice interview to confirm skating ability.
• Provide well-maintained personal ice skates approved by management.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays; varied shifts.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor ice and surrounding areas for safety and enjoyment.
• Enforce rink safety guidelines and guest conduct.
• Verify admission and manage flow on ice.
• Assist guests entering/exiting and navigating the rink.
• Provide information about The Rink and Rockefeller Center.
• Support rental skate services, locker room etiquette, cleaning.
• Assist in ice maintenance and venue upkeep during snow events.
