Rainbow Omega, Inc. is a faith-based, non-profit organization providing vocational and residential care programs to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our two specialized Intermediate Care Facilities (ICFs) house 10 and 15 residents respectively, fostering a community of safety, medical excellence, and deep compassion. We are seeking leadership-minded LPNs to head our shifts and deliver exceptional clinical care.

Position Summary

The ICF Team-Lead LPN oversees the shift-level clinical operations and directly provides high-quality nursing care to our residents. This leadership position coordinates daily health monitoring, medication administration, and therapeutic plans. It is an ideal role for an empathetic nurse who wants a consistent, long-term care environment to truly know patients and lead a dedicated support team.

• Night Shift Differential: An additional $3.50 per hour added to your base rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Act as the clinical Team Lead on shift, guiding direct care staff to ensure resident safety and adherence to healthcare plans.
• Clinical Nursing Care: Administer medications, perform clinical assessments, monitor vital signs, and provide specialized treatments as mapped out by individual care protocols.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure pristine tracking of medical records, narcotic counts, physician orders, and facility incident reporting.
• Resident Advocacy: Communicate and collaborate closely with families, case managers, and the interdisciplinary medical team regarding resident wellness.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Licensure: Must possess and maintain a valid, active Alabama Nursing License (LPN).
• Licensing: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience: One (1) year of experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals is preferred but not required.
• Background Checks: A clear pre-employment background check and a clean drug screen are strict conditions of employment.
