LILT is seeking freelance linguists to join its translation pool. You will translate content between English and your native language, ensuring cultural nuance and clarity while maintaining brand voice. You’ll edit for accuracy, support localization across platforms, and provide feedback to improve language model quality.

Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in the target language(s)
• Graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR
• Graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR
• 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely

Responsabilités

• Translate content between English and target language preserving nuance and clarity.
• Edit and refine language content for accuracy, tone, and context across digital platforms.
• Apply current language standards, usage trends, and best practices to all deliverables.
• Evaluate and provide structured feedback to improve language model quality.
• Collaborate with Production and cross-functional teams to localize content for markets.
• Support content development, localization, and quality assurance for digital tools and apps.
• Perform transcreation as needed to read naturally in the target language.
