Job summary

The Town of Parker is seeking a part-time Ice Maintenance Worker to keep the Discovery Park Ice Trail in optimal condition and to operate the ice resurfacing vehicle. You will perform routine maintenance, assist skaters, and help maintain a safe, clean facility.

Applicants must be 18+, with preferred experience in ice resurfacing and the ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and AED certification within 90 days. The role offers part-time benefits and a welcoming Parker community.

Responsibilities

• Operates ice resurfacing vehicle and related equipment at scheduled times.
• Assists in maintaining appearance, cleanliness, and safety of Discovery Park Ice Trail.
• Provides excellent customer service and resolves complaints as directed.
• Assists customers with equipment and sharpens skates as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and completes incident reports and forms.
• Maintains inventories of supplies and materials for ice resurfacing operations.
• Performs general and preventative maintenance on ice trail and equipment.
• Completes daily checklists and reporting for ice and facility maintenance.
• Practices safe operating techniques for blade changes, driving, resurfacing, and inspections.
