Job summary

The Town of Parker is seeking a part-time ice maintenance worker to keep the Discovery Park Ice Trail in optimal condition. You will operate the ice resurfacing vehicle, handle related equipment, and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming facility for park visitors.

Responsibilities include customer service, skate sharpening assistance, and responding to incidents while following safety protocols. CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience operating an ice resurfacing vehicle preferred.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate ice resurfacing vehicle and related equipment to maintain a quality skating surface.
• Assist in maintaining appearance, safety, and cleanliness of the Discovery Park Ice Trail.
• Provide customer service and resolve complaints as directed.
• Assist customers with equipment; sharpen skates as required.
• Respond to emergencies and complete incident reports.
