Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sports Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• Current ARC First Aid and Community CPR/AED certification.
• Desirable: US Ice Rink Association certifications: Ice Technician, Rink Administrator, Ice Rink Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation and administration of public skate sessions, programs and facility maintenance with focus on risk management.
• Provide excellent guest service and direct a diverse staff.
• Maintain public relations and patron satisfaction for the Ice Pavilion.
• Supervise maintenance activities and coordinate facility use.
• Monitor ice quality, temperature, depth readings and related maintenance tasks.
• Communicate repair needs to appropriate technicians and supervisors.
• Operate and supervise ice maintenance equipment (Zamboni, edger, skate sharpener).
• Maintain records of mechanical operations and preventive maintenance.
